As I look out my window, a half smile comes across my face.  I think to myself, this is why we live in Arizona.  When the rest of the country is suffering from the cold, we are still enjoying sunshine.  However, the one thing we cannot avoid are the economic challenges facing our country.

So what do you do when everything seems to be going wrong and people are speaking fear and doubt?  What do you do you’ve lost your job and you have no money in your savings account?  How do you llive from day-to-day when the bills are piling up and there is no end in sight?  Below are six helpful steps to keep you on track.

1.  Be thankful for what you have.  As simple as it may sound, it works wonders for the mind.

2.  Implement a plan of action–identify steps you can take to deal with the challenges your are facing.  Focus on solutions–not problems!

3.  Remember you are designed to live by faith.  In siutations like these, mindsight is better than eyesight.  So keep your mindsight on His promises and the prize.

4.  All fighters have to have someone in their corner.  Look around and make sure you have the right people in your corner.  This is not the time for a solo flight.

5. Focus on your vision and purpose.  They will give you a reason for getting out of bed in the mornings.

6.  Dare to dream again…live beyond your today on the canvas of your mind.
